The Dusty Motors Traxxas Slash 4X4 LCG/Rally 1/10 Protection Cover is a top-quality, handmade, dust and water-resistant cover that has been specifically designed for the LCG chassis Slash 4X4 and Rally 1/10 models. The cover boasts a zipper access opening that simplifies connecting/disconnecting batteries and accessing the power switch, without the need to remove the cover every time you need access. Made from high-quality, breathable material, the cover is strong, durable, and efficient. With more than 50% of the total surface area featuring an open material, the cover allows excellent airflow to keep the model electronics cool while preventing debris, moisture, and other contaminants from getting into the chassis.
Moreover, each cover includes a 19″ length of shock absorber cover that can be cut to length, as needed for the shocks on your model! The elastic material of the cover stretches over shocks of different diameters. One included length of the cover will be enough for approximately 4-8 shocks, depending on the length of the shocks your model has.
Please note that during extended running sessions, it is recommended to unzip the cover during breaks to allow the ESC and motor to cool down faster.
