Meet the TBS Source One V5, one of the most popular and trusted open-source FPV frame projects in the world. Initiated by Team BlackSheep, the Source One is a versatile workhorse designed through community collaboration to be durable, easy to build, and accessible for every pilot. It’s the perfect platform for competitive freestyle, free-range acrobatics, or simply your everyday reliable FPV quad.
The Source One V5 is engineered to be an absolute tank. It is built around a robust, wide-stance X configuration and features impressively thick 6mm carbon fiber arms. This construction is designed to withstand harsh crashes and the general abuse that comes with pushing your limits, making it a frame you can fly with confidence. The open-source nature of the project also means there is a massive community and wide availability of compatible 3D printed parts and accessories.
Designed for modern components, the frame is incredibly versatile. It offers mounting support for both 30.5×30.5mm and 20x20mm electronic stacks. The kit also includes two sets of standoffs (30mm and 22mm), giving you the freedom to choose your preferred build height for either a standard or a lower-profile “slammed” configuration.
